Stick around and be a part of the Stadium Celebration! Take a load off and relax in the stands and enjoy live entertainment by some of Hawaii's top entertainers, observe the GAR runners (front & center) as they victoriously cross the finish, win fabulous trips to the neighbor islands and Las Vegas! Hang around to cheer on the high schools and be a part of the excitement as our elite runners sprint around the track for an additional showdown.

GEAR UP FOR THE GREAT ALOHA RUN HIGH SCHOOL CHALLENGE

A weekend of fun activities geared towards building teamwork, youth fitness, school spirit and school pride.

Thanks to health-minded companies and generous individuals, 17 Oahu high schools will have 100 students, teachers and family members participate in the 2008 Hawaiian Telcom Great Aloha Run.

Each school will have a chance to win cash awards by participating in the 3^rd Annual Mind & Body Fitness Challenge (team obstacles and games) held Saturday at the GAR Sports, Health & Fitness Expo and the Celebrity Relay Challenge on Race Day.

Thanks to the generosity of Hawaii Metal Recycling, each school will receive a $200 donation just for participating. Cash awards will be given to the top three schools earning the highest combined points.
