Join us after the run inside the Aloha Stadium for the 2012 So Ono Great Aloha Run Stadium Party! There are prize giveaways, live bands and the grand finale of the high school fitness challenge including a relay race and cheering contest for the high schools.

Join Sistah Sherry of Krater 96 and Lina Girl of KCCN FM100 with a line-up including the Marine Forces Show Band, Tahitian with Tali‘i Lagi Polynesian Productions, Rolando Sanchez and the Latin Jazz Combo and more.

Don’t forget to stick around for great prize giveaways. Runners, please put numbered prize tag in the collection bag as you enter the STADIUM STANDS. Winners must be present to win and winning names will be called 3 times.

GEAR UP FOR THE GREAT ALOHA RUN HIGH SCHOOL FITNESS CHALLENGE

High School Challenge

A weekend of fun activities geared towards building teamwork, youth fitness, school spirit and school pride.

Thanks to health-minded companies and generous individuals, 21 Oahu high schools will have 100 students, teachers and family members participate in the 2012 Kaiser Permanente Great Aloha Run.

Each school will have a chance to win cash awards by participating in the Mind & Body Fitness Challenge (team obstacles and games) held Saturday at 1 pm at the GAR Sports, Health & Fitness Expo and the Relay Challenge on Race Day at Aloha Stadium.

Through the generosity of Schnitzer Steel Corporation, the first, second and third place teams will receive $1,000, $750 and $500 respectively. The seven runners-up will receive $200 for their school. Every school will additionally receive $200 for participating thanks to the generous support of HawaiiUSA FCU.

ALOHA STADIUM TAILGATE POLICY FOR THE GREAT ALOHA RUN

The following is PROHIBITED:

Aloha Stadium
The stadium reserves the right to impose additional tailgating limitations, as needed.

All participants must vacate the stadium grounds no later than 12 noon.

Important note: violators are subject to the provisions of state law and removal from Aloha Stadium property. Fans may call the Aloha Stadium Anonymous Tip Line to report violations at (808) 483-2807.
  1. RESERVING STALLS.
    Parking is available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Please arrange for vehicles who would like adjacent stalls for tailgating to enter the parking lot at the same time
  2. UTILIZING MORE THAN ONE STALL.
    Vehicles, tables, chairs, and tent must be confined to ONE STALL ONLY.
  3. RECREATIONAL PLAY.
    Please do not toss footballs, frisbees or any other type of ball in the parking lot. No bikes, scooters, rollerblades or skateboards are allowed in the parking lot.
  4. ANIMALS.
    Only service pets will be allowed on property.
  5. LIVE BANDS/LOUD MUSIC.
  6. LITERATURE.
    Soliciting, hawking, selling and giveaways of any kind are prohibited without prior approval from Aloha Stadium management.
  7. ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES.
