Join us after the run inside Aloha Stadium for a fabulous show! There are prize give aways, live bands and the grand finale of the high school fitness challenge including a relay race and cheering contest for the high schools.
GEAR UP FOR THE GREAT ALOHA RUN HIGH SCHOOL FITNESS CHALLENGE
A weekend of fun activities geared towards building teamwork, youth fitness, school spirit and school pride.
Thanks to health-minded companies and generous individuals, 20 Oahu high schools will have 100 students, teachers and family members participate in the 2010 Kaiser Permanente Great Aloha Run.
Each school will have a chance to win cash awards by participating in the Mind & Body Fitness Challenge (team obstacles and games) held Saturday at 1 pm at the GAR Sports, Health & Fitness Expo and the Relay Challenge on Race Day at Aloha Stadium.
Thanks to health and community minded companies and generous individuals, 20 Oahu high schools will have 100 students, teachers and family members participate in the 2010 Kaiser Permanente Great Aloha Run.
Through the generosity of Schnitzer Steel Corporation, the first, second and third place teams will receive $1,000, $750 and $500 respectively. The seven runners-up will receive $200 for their school. Every school will additionally receive $200 for participating thanks to the generous support of HawaiiUSA FCU.
